Following our successful funding application to Jimbo’s fund this year we are delighted to let you know that we are now in a position to extend our staffing roles until the end of March 2016.
The roles we have are for a Service Manager and for a number of support workers (all roles are on a self-employed basis). The roles are to manage and facilitate the running of Sunshine and Smiles, staff our groups and activities, to undertake individual support work where necessary and to take part in development work such as talking to and liaising with other agencies and professionals to improve practice and raise awareness.
There are people who have been doing these roles for the last 10 months, and previously on a voluntary basis, but there have been some changes to the job descriptions, the hours available for the support worker posts and we just wanted to ensure that we are transparent and equitable in using this funding and so are sending out the job descriptions and applications for anyone who is interested in applying for any of these roles…. if you would like the job descriptions and application forms please email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The date for returning applications is Friday 22nd May.
Interviews will be with a panel of our trustees from the week commencing 2nd June. If anyone else is interested in sitting on the interview panel please let us know as it would be great to have other parents and carers involved.
